Ironically, Zane’s career has a similar trajectory as Brando’s, as they were both earmarked for success early on based on their charisma and range; Zane’s best roles included scene-stealing performances in Titanic, Back to the Future, Twin Peaks, and Tombstone, but he’s been out of the spotlight within the past few decades. Waltzing with Brando is a massive comeback for Zane, who gives a performance so authentic that it becomes hard to differentiate from archive footage of the real Brando. While a great impersonation is an achievement in its own right, Zane was also able to shed light on an aspect of Brando’s personality that wasn’t already exposed to the public.
