Bill Fishman, the founder of fALLOUT in 1984, is an independent filmmaker and music video director.
Throughout his career, he has been dedicated to earning the title of “The Hardest Working Man In Show Business,” a distinction once held by the legendary James Brown. Fishman’s portfolio includes directing award winning classic music videos for artists like Suicidal Tendencies, The Ramones, The Georgia Satellites, Good Charlotte, Wilco, Hank Williams Jr., Kid Rock, Van Halen, The Brand New Heavies, George Clinton, Stevie Ray Vaughan, John Fogerty, Geggy Tah, Jessica Simpson, Theory of a Deadman, T-Pain, Aloe Blacc, Natasha Bedingfield, Dream Theater, Lamb Of God, Bootsy Collins, The Ojays, Sir Mix-a-Lot, Train, Counting Crows, Megadeth, Fall Out Boy, Nickelback, Andy Grammer, The Decemberists, St. Jhn, Joss Stone, Michael Bublé, The Backstreet Boys, Carlos Santana and too many more to remember!

His contributions as a director in to the world of feature films include the cult classics “Tapeheads” (John Cusack, Tim Robbins), “Desperate But Not Serious,” “Car 54, Where Are You?” “Desperate But Not Serious” and “My Dinner with Jimi”. All of which showcase his rather unique storytelling and directorial style has led to awards such as 2003 MTV V.M.A.’s Viewer’s Choice Award and multiple CMA “Best Video” awards. His video for pioneering punk rockers Suicidal Tendencies’ “Institutionalized” was displayed in the Portland Museum of Art during a multi-media exhibit celebrating modern dadaism.Having attended some of the top film schools, including N.Y.U., S.F. Art Institute, SUNY Purchase, UCLA and A.F.I., he’s veteran of many previous film fests he has won awards including both the “Prix de Public” and “Gran Prix” awards at Switzerland’s Val D’Isere Film Festival, Best Screenplay Award at the 2003 Slamdunk Film Festival, Best Feature Film at the Asheville Film Festival and a Best Film at the Cleveland International Film Festival. In these films and others, Mr. Fishman’s creative vision, cinematic expertise and quirky humor are unmistakable, making him a versatile artist who has left his mark in both the music and film industries. His ability to seamlessly transition between these two creative realms speaks to his talent as a multi-faceted artist.
